• 16 Bit DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card
• Compatible 3d Graphics Card with 128Mb RAM and Hardware Pixel/Vertex Shader 2.0

DIRECTX:
========
Direct X 9.1 is requierd to play ArmA. The game setup should update your system with DirectX 9.1 automatically.

OPENAL:
=======
OpenAL is a 3D Audio-API for games and other applications on all platforms.
The necessary OpenAL files will be installed in your computer during ArmA and will improve the audio experience when playing this game

VIDEO:
======
The game supports ATI and Nvidia graphic cards, with Pixel/Vertex Shader 2.0 or better.
We suggest you to download and install most updated drivers from http://www.ati.com/ or http://www.nvidia.com
INSTALLATION:
=============
Autostart:
The game will start automatically when you insert the ArmA-DVD in the DVD ROM of your PC.
Should this not happen, pelase doubleclick on the file “Autorun.exe” found in the main directory of ArmA DVD.
From the Autoplay menu you can read the Readme.txt file, visit Bohemia Interative Studio’s website and install the game.
Setup:
Follow the on screen instructions to install the game.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
================
Installation problems:
- Please, make sure that you have the original DVD.
- Uninstall Armed Assault completely from the Startmenu.
- Manually erase all datas found in the installation folder of Armed Assault.
- Install Armed Assault from scratch again.
If at any point during a mission you become stuck, or the mission does not progress it is recommended that you restart the mission from the beginning.
If the mission looks too hard for you, restart it as well and try different approach.
If you encounter any sound or graphical issues while running the game, please make sure you have installed the latest versions of your hardware drivers.
