1.2. Language Selection
The language selected at the start of the installation is the language that will be used in-game. To change the language, please uninstall and reinstall the game.

1.3. Uninstallation
Windows XP
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs™ can be uninstalled from the Add/Remove Programs icon located in the Control Panel (Start->Settings->Control Panel). Locate the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs™ entry and click on the Change/Remove button, then follow the instructions on-screen to uninstall the game.
Windows Vista
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs™ can be uninstalled from the Programs and Features icon located in the Control Panel (Start->Control Panel). Locate the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs™ entry and click on the Uninstall button, then follow the instructions on-screen to uninstall the game.

2. Automatical Update System

There is a utility used in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs™ for detect if there are any new Patches to the game since you have purchased it. The update system is automatically runned when you launch the game everytime.

3.1. Installing video drivers
If you experience any graphical problems, please install the recommended video drivers for your video card. Links to the most popular video cards manufacturers are available at the end of this document.

3.2. Installing sound drivers
If you experience any sound problems, please install the latest sound drivers available for your sound card. Links to the most popular sound cards manufacturers are available at the bottom of this document.

3.3. Installing DirectX

3.4. Windows Service Packs
It is recommended to install the latest service packs for all PC operating systems.

3.5. PC Known issues
This game does not support Vista 64 because running the game with Vista 64 may cause crashes upon launch.
The pre-Radeon 9600 video cards will crash the game due to the outdated and no longer updated driver by ATI (the 6.11 driver).
The pre-GeForce 5700 video cards will not yield enough performance to run the game on a reasonable level even on the lowest settings.

3.6. Sound Card Support
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs™ does not support sound device selection and it will use the default sound card set by the PC. To change the default sound device, go to Control Panel, select the Sounds and Audio Devices icon and select the Audio tap. In the Default device, pick the desire sound card from the drop down list.

On Windows Vista, please use administrator user to install the game in case you encounter an installation error.
