To avoid any compatibility problems, always update your graphic card drivers to the most recently available versions.
For GeForce cards, go to www.nvidia.com <http://www.nvidia.com>. The latest drivers available at the moment of writing were 93.71 for Windows XP and 97.46 for Windows Vista.
For Radeon cards, go to www.atitech.com <http://www.atitech.com>. The latest drivers available at the moment of writing were Catalyst 7.1 for Windows XP/Vista.

To avoid any sound compatibility problems, always update your sound card drivers to the most recently available versions.
For SoundBlaster cards, go to www.creative.com <http://www.creative.com>.
For Realtek AC97/HD cards, go to www.realtek.com.tw <http://www.realtek.com.tw>.
For Hercules cards, go to www.hercules.com <http://www.hercules.com>.
For all others, please visit the hardware manufacturer website.
Yamaha Waveforce card is not supported.

We strongly recommend to not install DRIVER: Parallel Lines into your system's "Windows" folder or in any partition's root (ex: directly on C: or D.

Some graphics cards support higher quality colour definition. If your graphics card (and driver) supports this feature, you will have "32bit HD" choices available in addition to the normal colour definition "32bit" modes in the Screen Resolution section of the options menu in the game.

Known issues at time of release:
• The default mouse and keyboard controls have actions assigned to the mouse middle button and wheel. If you do not have a mouse wheel, you may need to customise the controls before playing.
• The default joypad controls require 12 mapped buttons, if your joypad has insufficient buttons you may need to customise the controls before playing.
• Some PC's may experience random pauses in gameplay, due to file system and hard drive performance.
• Turtle Beach Montego DDL cards may click during audio playback.
• Graphical glitches may be visible on cars with NVIVIA GeForce 5600GS using Shader 1.x

The game has pre-defined controls sets for both the Microsoft Common Controller, and a three buttoned wheeled mouse with keyboard. Users with other controllers may need to redefine button and axis mappings prior to playing.
