2. Known Issues

################################################## ##############################

2.1. Installing Graphics and Motherboard Drivers

If you experience any graphical problems, please install the latest video and motherboard drivers available for your Graphics Card. Links to the most popular Graphics Card and motherboard manufacturers are available at the bottom of this document.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2.2. Installing Sound Drivers

If you experience any sound problems, please install the latest sound drivers available for your sound card. Links to the most popular sound card manufacturers are available at the bottom of this document.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2.3. Installing DirectX

Rayman Origins requires DirectX runtime DLLs from June 2011 or later to run properly. To get the latest version of DirectX, please visit:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx

DirectX is also provided on the install disc in the folder Support\DirectX.

If you receive an error message about missing DLL files, reinstall DirectX from the install disc to correct the problem.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2.4. Bugs and Comments

* It is _not_ advisable to install the game into the Windows folder (usually C:\Windows), a subfolder of the Windows folder, nor the root of the system drive (usually C:\).

* It is recommended to close all other running programs before installing the game, to reduce the risk of software conflicts.

* Properly installed and connected gamepads (including Xbox360 controllers) need to be manually assigned to each action in the Options Menu).

* There is an issue with Thrustmaster controllers – assigning Up or Down on the Right Thumbstick won't work.

* There is an issue with Saitek P2500 Rumble controller – assigning Up or Down on the Right Thumbstick won't work.

* While connecting one Xbox360 controller along with one or more Thrustmaster controllers, the Xbox360 controller won't be detected. If more then one Xbox360 controllers are connected, only one of them will encounter this issue.

* The game needs properly installed sound and video drivers or it will fail to initialize. Please make sure you have the latest drivers from you're sound card and video card manufacturers installed before you start the game.
