1. Installation Instructions

1.1. System Requirements
*Supported OS: Windows® XP (SP3), Windows Vista® (SP1)
*Processor: Intel Pentium 4 / AMD Athlon XP running at 2 GHz
(Recommended: Pentium 4 / Athlon 64 running at 3 GHz)
*RAM: 512 MB for XP / 1 GB for Vista (Recommended: 1 GB for XP / 2 GB for Vista)
*Video Card: 64 MB – 64Bit bus width DirectX 9.0c–compatible video cards
(Recommended: 128MB – 128Bit bus width DirectX 9.0c–compatible video cards)
*Sound Card: Any DirectX 9.0c–compatible sound card
*DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c for XP (included on disc) / DirectX 10 for Vista

1.2. Installation
Please close all running programs before installing CSI: Deadly Intent to avoid
problems. Do not install this application in your Windows folder or in the root
of the C: drive.
To install CSI: Deadly Intent, insert the DVD into your computer
and select Install from the Startup screen.
You will be asked to install DirectX. You need these files to play the game,
so if you are unsure of whether your computer has them, please install them.

1.3. Uninstallation
To uninstall, click on the Start menu and navigate to CSI - Deadly Intent
(by default: All Programs, Ubisoft, CSI - Deadly Intent). Then
select Uninstall CSI - Deadly Intent.

Using only a mouse, you will be able to enjoy CSI: Deadly Intent. The in-game
tutorial will walk you through the game's basic functions.

A sound card is required to run the game, you must have one installed or
you will not be able to launch CSI: Deadly Intent.

To avoid any compatibility problems, please install the latest video drivers
available for your video card. Links are available at the end of this document.

For optimal performance we recommend that no other programs are running on
your system when you run CSI: Deadly Intent.
