Lightbulb What is qpmd8380.bin?

Wondering what a small hidden file called qpmd8380.bin is doing in the root of your boot drive? Wonder no more. It's a legitimate file automatically generated by the Adobe ColdFusion software. It is a small file at, or, around 22 bytes and contains a string of numbers.

What is ColdFusion?
Adobe® ColdFusion® application server enables developers to rapidly build, deploy, and maintain robust Internet applications for the enterprise.
